From Friday, 20 August 2021 to Thursday, 26 August 2021, 6 colleagues have tested positive for Covid-19 in our business. 

They were located at the following stores:

Food Lover’s Market Hillfox

Food Lover’s Market Upington

Food Lover’s Market Comaro Crossing

Food Lover’s Market Knysna

 

13 close contacts were sent home and, when required, professional cleaning companies deep cleaned and sanitised the stores. All of our other colleagues have been screened throughout this period and have not displayed any symptoms in the time since the affected team members were last in the store.  We wish all our affected colleagues well and look forward to welcoming them back to the store.

 

We will continue our practice of screening our team members on arrival at work daily and during the day, as well as following all hygiene protocols – including sanitising hands and surfaces, practicing social distancing and wearing masks.
