Pretoria North Covid-19 News
18th Dec 2020
18 December 2020 – A team member, who works as a member of the Security Team at Food Lover’s Market Pretoria North, has tested positive for Covid-19. Her last day at work was on Sunday, 13 December 2020 – five days ago. This team member was screened as part of our daily wellness checks and was sent home. She consequently had herself tested on Monday, 14 December 2020. We were formally advised today of the positive test result.
The team member that was in close contact with this colleague has been identified and instructed to self-quarantine for the remaining period of the 10-days since the last contact with a said colleague. They are being monitored for symptoms of COVID-19 and will only return to the store once we are satisfied that they have not contracted the virus.
A professional cleaning company conducted a deep clean and sanitisation of the store on Tuesday, 15 December 2020 – after our colleague advised us that she was tested for Covid-19. All other colleagues have been screened throughout this period and have not displayed any symptoms in the time since the affected team members were last in the store.
We wish our affected colleague well and look forward to welcoming her, and the rest of the team, back to the store.
As we have followed all required hygiene protocols – our own, as well as the regulations as set out by the government, Food Lover’s Market Pretoria North is open and we look forward to welcoming you back to store.
