Morning Glen Covid-19 News
9th Aug 2020
09 August 2020 – A team member, who works the night shift in the Grocery department at Food Lover’s Market Morning Glen, has tested positive for Covid-19. His last day at work was on Thursday, 30 July 2020 – ten days ago. This team member called in to let us know he is feeling unwell and consequently had himself tested on Monday, 03 August 2020 – six days ago. We were informed today that he has tested positive for COVID-19.
All team members that were in close contact with this colleague have been identified and have been instructed to self-quarantine for the remaining period of the 14-days since the last contact with their colleague. They are being monitored for symptoms of COVID-19 and will only return to the store once we are satisfied that they have not contracted the virus.
A professional cleaning company conducted a deep clean and sanitisation of the store on Monday, 03 August 2020 (six days ago) – on the day our colleague had himself tested for Covid-19. All colleagues have been screened throughout this period and have not displayed any symptoms in the time since the affected team member was last in the store.
We wish our affected colleague well and look forward to welcoming him, and the rest of the team, back to the store.
We will continue our practice of screening our team members on arrival at work daily and during the day, as well as following all hygiene protocols – including sanitising hands and surfaces, practicing social distancing and wearing masks.
As we have followed all required hygiene protocols – our own, as well as the regulations as set out by the government, Food Lover’s Market Morning Glen is open and we look forward to welcoming you back to store.
