Lynnwood Lane Covid-19 News
16th Apr 2021
16 April 2021 – A team member, who works in the Butchery department at Food Lover’s Market Lynwood, has tested positive for Covid-19. Her last day at work was on Tuesday, 13 April 2021 – three days ago. This team member called in to let us know she was feeling unwell. She consequently had herself tested on Wednesday, 14 April 2021. We were formally advised today of the positive test result.
All team members that were in close contact with this colleague have been identified and have been instructed to self-quarantine for the remaining period of the 10-days since last contact with their colleague. They are being monitored for symptoms of COVID-19 and will only return to the store once we are satisfied that they have not contracted the virus.
Food Lover’s Market Lynwood was temporarily closed earlier this morning so that a professional cleaning company can conduct a deep clean and sanitisation of the store. The store has since reopened as we are satisfied that all hygiene protocols have been completed. All colleagues have been screened throughout this period and have not displayed any symptoms in the time since the affected team members were last in the store.
We wish our affected colleague well and look forward to welcoming her, and our other colleagues, back to the store.
We will continue our practice of screening our team members on arrival at work daily and during the day, as well as following all hygiene protocols – including sanitising hands and surfaces, practicing social distancing and wearing masks.
Food Lover’s Market Lynwood is open and we look forward to welcoming you back to the store.
