Lenasia Covid-19 News
5th Jan 2021
05 January 2021 – A team member, who works in the Grocery department at Food Lover’s Market Lenasia, has tested positive for Covid-19. His last day at work was on Monday, 28 December 2020 – eight days ago. This team member was screened as part our our daily wellness checks and sent home. He consequently had himself tested on Thursday, 31 December 2020. We were formally advised today of the positive test result.
This team member had no close contacts.
A professional cleaning company conducted a deep clean and sanitization of the store on Monday, 28 December 2020 – when we were advised that our colleague has been tested for Covid-19. All colleagues have been screened throughout this period and have not displayed any symptoms in the time since the affected team members were last in the store.
We wish our affected colleague well and look forward to welcoming him back to the store.
We will continue our practice of screening our team members on arrival at work daily and during the day, as well as following all hygiene protocols – including sanitizing hands and surfaces, practicing social distancing and wearing masks.
As we have followed all required hygiene protocols – our own, as well as the regulations as set out by government, Food Lover’s Market Lenasia is open and we look forward to welcoming you back to store.
