Hillcrest Covid-19 News
26th Dec 2020
26 December 2020 – A team member, who is in a management position at Food Lover’s Market Hillcrest, has tested positive for Covid-19. His last day at work was on Wednesday, 23 December 2020 – two days ago. This team member was not feeling well and consequently had himself tested on the same day – Wednesday, 23 December 2020. We were formally advised of the positive test result on Thursday, 24 December 2020.
All team members that were in close contact with this colleague have been identified and have been instructed to self-quarantine for the remaining period of the 10-days since last contact with their colleague. They are being monitored for symptoms of COVID-19 and will only return to the store once we are satisfied that they have not contracted the virus.
The store is closed today and a professional cleaning company has been scheduled to conduct a deep clean and sanitisation of the store in the early hours of Sunday, 27 December 2020 – prior to opening. All colleagues have been screened throughout this period and have not displayed any symptoms in the time since the affected team members were last in the store.
We wish our affected colleague well and look forward to welcoming him, and our other colleagues, back to the store.
As we would have followed all required hygiene protocols – our own, as well as the regulations as set out by government, Food Lover’s Market Hillcrest will be open tomorrow and we look forward to welcoming you back to store.
