Hermanus Covid-19 News
22nd Jun 2021
22 June 2021 – A team member, who works as a Cashier at Food Lover’s Market Hermanus, has tested positive for Covid-19. She was last at work on Friday, 18 June 2021 – four days ago. This team member was screened as part of our daily wellness checks and sent home. She consequently had herself tested on Monday, 21 June 2021. We formally advised today that she has tested positive for COVID-19.
This team member had no close contacts.
A professional cleaning company conducted a deep clean and sanitisation of the store on Monday, 21 June 2021 – after we were advised that our colleague has been tested for Covid-19. All colleagues have been screened throughout this period and have not displayed any symptoms in the time since the affected team member was last in the store.
We wish our affected colleague well and look forward to welcoming her back to the store.
We will continue our practice of screening our team members on arrival at work daily and during the day, as well as following all hygiene protocols – including sanitising hands and surfaces, practicing social distancing and wearing masks.
As we have followed all required hygiene protocols – our own, as well as the regulations as set out by government, Food Lover’s Market Hermanus is open and we look forward to welcoming you back to store.
