Freshstop Caledon Covid-19 News
27th Nov 2020
27 November 2020 – A team member, who works as a store manager at Freshstop Caledon, has tested positive for Covid-19. His last day at work was yesterday – Thursday, 26 November 2020. This team member had himself tested as a precautionary measure on Wednesday, 25 November 2020 and we were formally advised yesterday that he has tested positive for COVID-19. In the interest of transparency, we are advising you of what we have already done.
All team members that were in close contact with this colleague have been identified and have been instructed to self-quarantine for the remaining period of the 10-days since the last contact with their colleague. They are being monitored for symptoms of COVID-19 and will only return to the store once we are satisfied that they have not contracted the virus.
A professional cleaning company conducted a deep clean and sanitisation of the store last night (Thursday, 26 November 2020) – when our colleague advised us of his positive test result for Covid-19. All colleagues have been screened throughout this period and have not displayed any symptoms in the time since the affected team member was last in the store.
We wish our affected colleague well and look forward to welcoming him, and the rest of the team, back to the store.
We will continue our practice of screening our team members on arrival at work daily and during the day, as well as following all hygiene protocols – including sanitising hands and surfaces, practising social distancing and wearing masks.
As we have followed all required hygiene protocols – our own, as well as the regulations as set out by the government, Freshstop Caledon is open and we look forward to welcoming you back to store.
