Bruma Covid-19 News
27th Jun 2021
27 June 2021 – A team member, who works in the Butchery department at Food Lover’s Market Bruma, has tested positive for Covid-19. His last day at work was on Thursday, 24 June 2021 – three days ago. This team member called in to let us know he was feeling unwell. He consequently had himself tested on Friday, 25 June 2021. We were formally advised of the positive test result today.
This team member had no close contacts.
A professional cleaning company conducted a deep clean and sanitisation of the store on Friday, 25 June 2021 – when our colleague advised us of his Covid-19 test. All colleagues have been screened throughout this period and have not displayed any symptoms in the time since the affected team members were last in the store.
We wish our affected colleague well and look forward to welcoming him back to the store.
We will continue our practice of screening our team members on arrival at work daily and during the day, as well as following all hygiene protocols – including sanitising hands and surfaces, practicing social distancing and wearing masks.
As we have followed all required hygiene protocols – our own, as well as the regulations as set out by government, Food Lover’s Market Bruma is open and we look forward to welcoming you back to store.
